Breathe. Write. Paint.
Move.

Shy Poets is a creative wellbeing experience that blends four different modes of expression into one session. It's designed for people who might not think of themselves as "creative" — and for those who do but want a different kind of space.

Rosa facilitates the space — she's not teaching a class. She creates the conditions for you to tap into your own creativity, whether that's writing, painting, moving, or simply listening and taking it as inspiration to start your own practice. Some people come to share, others come to absorb. Both are welcome.

The idea is simple: use breathwork to settle in and open up, then let words, paint and movement flow naturally. No pressure, no judgment, no experience needed. The session is self-guided — you go at your own pace.

What Happens During the Session

  • Breathwork — guided breathing to help you settle in, ground yourself and open up creatively
  • Guided poetry / writing — prompts and exercises to explore words without overthinking
  • Painting / creative expression — hands-on creative work, materials provided
  • Movement and dance — incorporating Salsa, Zouk and Kompa, adapted to how you naturally move

You don't need to be a poet, dancer or artist to take part. This is about expression, not performance. Come as you are.

Client reviews and stories

"Shy Poets started because I noticed something — people who'd never write a poem in public, never paint, never dance freely, were doing all three when given the right space and the right breathwork first."

"It's not about being good at any of it. It's about letting yourself do it. That's where the wellbeing part lives."
