Carmen is the best!
I've been working with her for 3 months and I'm so happy with the results. I was very specific when looking for a PT because I have hypermobility and my main goal was to strengthen my joints and reduce pain. I've been really impressed with how knowledgeable Carmen is and how invested she has been in my progress, between checking in on my workouts throughout the week and constantly recommending minor adjustments to movements if there's any pain or discomfort.
She's also been really attentive to tailoring my workout to fit my gender expression, even in ways I hadn't picked up on myself. She's highlighted the importance of nutrition without any mention of restriction or weight gain/loss which was very important to me.
She's found a great balance of making a me push myself while still going at a gentle pace with stuff I was nervous about like running and now I can do things I didn't think I could!

I recently had the opportunity to work with a Carmen as my personal trainer (for my first time using one) and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked into the gym, she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. She is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping reach fitness goals. She will take into consideration your mood and energy levels on the day and adjust the sessions to how your energy levels are which I really appreciated as I suffer from bad PMS and this effected my energy levels a couple of the sessions.
I also had a stretch therapy session with Carmen, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I did not know what to expect as it was my first time trying stretch therapy but from the moment I walked into the studio, I felt welcomed and at ease. Carmen took the time to understand specific concerns/ injuries and goals. This initial consultation gave me confidence that I knew I was in good hands. Highly recommend 🙂

“Carmen is an amazing personal trainer. She gave me the confidence to step in the gym and made it a comfortable environment for me to access. She ensured i became familiar with the weights, machines and techniques during my time with her.
She discussed my personal goals and implemented a program to help me achieve them. She reviewed my program throughout and made amendments and adjustments to support me, she was very good at identifying my weaknesses and restrictions in movement and made the necessary changes in my plan. Carmen made reasonable adjustments to help accommodate and improve in these areas.
Additionally Carmen discussed how I could improve in other areas and gave me advice on recovery and dietary changes. She took an all round approach to my development.

“As someone who never thought they'd love the gym or feel confident in such a space I am now, and that is all down the the incredible energy of Carmen. I started training with her as someone with huge goals and expectations of my body, Carmen helped me to build new awarenesses of my body and helped me grow in confidence to know when to push myself and when to rest. And with that allowing myself to rest, because Carmen also helped me identify that rest is good, it doesn't mean we're lazy! Carmen makes going to the gym fun and my morning sessions with her are made all the better knowing we'll both have a great laugh while working out too. The gym is such a male dominated space and with Carmen by your side you won't feel that at all, she helps women to take up the space they deserve in the gym and make you feel seen for who your are and not what you look like or should look like.
